BIOGRAPHY
Max began showing interest in music and playing piano as a child. His music career began in earnest at age 19, when he recorded “Don’t Move Time” with psyche-pop band The Grandparents, and embarked on a regional tour supporting its release. His next venture was with jamtronica act Tribal Spectrum, with whom he released multiple albums and singles, and cut his teeth in live performance by playing afterparties for major touring acts like Pretty Lights and EOTO. In 2015, he moved from Portland, OR to Austin, TX; and began to make the rounds of the local jam scene with Koodookoo and eventually Panic Stricken. Max has shared the stage with a wide array of acts ranging from The Werks and Blackalicious, all the way to Beach House. He has played festivals around the country including Emerg-N-See in Salem, Oregon; Lucidity in Santa Barbara, California; and Total Fest in Missoula, Montana. He is grateful to have the honor and opportunity to pay tribute to Jojo and Widespread Panic!
