BIOGRAPHY
Aztex is a Latin American music group led by accordionist Joel Guzman and singer/songwriter Sarah Fox. Their field of expertise runs the gamut from R&B to Latin Rock. The group was founded in 1998.
Over the course of their three-decade career, Joel and Sarah have self-produced a variety of original Latin Rock, Conjunto and Jazz records for Guzman Fox Records. Their music is a stunning blend of interweaving of the best of both American and Mexican folk music. The duo’s performances have propelled them into the national stage, garnering them three Grammy nominations and two wins in 2004 and 2005.
