BIOGRAPHY
Diamante Eléctrico is a Latin Grammy-winning Colombian rock band whose sound continually vacillates between blues – rock, pop-punk, indie rock, and R&B. Their overdriven sound has been recognized internationally by the rock press, as well as artists from the Foo Fighters to the Rolling Stones thanks to their intense performance style and their media – savvy videos. Their songs are mostly brief, ranging from 3 to 4 minutes, wrapped in hooks, fuzzed-out production, tight vocal harmonies, and a paced but furious energy, as evidenced on 2014´s B, which one that year´s Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album and was selected by Colombia´s Rolling Stone as the most important rock album of the year. By contrast, 2018’s Buitres, released after years of road and studio work, was celebrated with chart success and Latin Grammy nominations.
