BIOGRAPHY
Grace, a 19-year-old R&B/soul artist, first took the stage as a dancer just before grade school. Over years of training pre-professionally in hip-hop, ballet and more, along with being influenced by the sound around her, she realised music was the true entity that provoked her love of movement. Seeking a way to turn these melodies and dreams into reality, she sought out CSP Music Group in Atlanta, Georgia, where she visited and tracked her first single, “Tell Me.” Refocusing in her hometown of Austin, Texas, she made contact with Matt Noveskey and Victor Gaspar of Orb Recording Studios. She then recorded and released her next two singles “Velvet Noise” and “Soul or System.” Combining the minds of producers Andrew Schindler and Nate Villegas, they composed her most fruitful single to date – “Attraction”, which was followed by her debut music video by Daniel Castillo.
While breaking into the live music territory and opening up for Torre Blake, James Robinson, Jay Wile and Harry Edohoukwa, playing at Hot Summer Nights festival and providing backup for Shiela at ACL 202, she’s also begun working in the studio with BLK ODYSSY and other musicians. Grace infuses her sound with flavours of Summer Walker, H.E.R., Snoh Aalegra and D’Angelo to inspire her new wave, all while still pursuing professional dance and collaboration. Through her discography and artistic presence, she hopes to be a voice for the outcasts. She hopes her music can personify that feeling you can’t put into words and that you may be at peace with that vulnerability. Her new single, “PRETTY BOY”, and debut EP, WHAT I NEVER TOLD YOU, are out now on all platforms.
